Wat ga je doen?
You will take on a leading role to develop our international business in Riga and the Baltic region by providing engineering consultancy in collaboration with various experts mainly from the Netherlands. The role combines leadership with strategic growth. You will manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and safely to the highest technical standards. You will be the first point of contact to clients and partners in the Baltic region; at the same time, you will also identify new opportunities and expand the company’s presence in the regional market.
- acquisition activities, including preparation of technical and financial proposals with the team
- manage engineering services and teams locally and internationally
- provide engineering consultancy for projects in the infrastructure, transport and energy sector
- perform technical inspections and draft terms of reference
- work in accordance with external and internal quality standards
Dit ben jij

Mandatory:
-
engineer’s diploma either Structural, Electrical, Hydraulic or Energy related
-
at least 5 years working experience in a similar working environment
-
proficiency in both Latvian and English

Essential:
-
strong communication and coordination skills (active listener and proactive initiator)

strong interest in developing the engineering consultancy market in Latvia and in the Baltic region
-
ability to work independently in a small local team
-
experience to work in international teams or willingness to collaborate in an international environment

willingness to travel in the Baltic region and occasionally internationally

Optional:

holding a design certificate
-
experience with relevant engineering software (e.g. FEM, BIM, CAD, modelling tools)

having a network in the Latvian infrastructure, transport and/or energy sector
