Sea level rise, climate change, biodiversity improvement, energy transition and nature restoration are topical issues in delta regions. Witteveen+Bos frequently works on complex issues at the interface of land and water. We do this all over the world, always combining our expertise with knowledge of local conditions and the local system.

Solutions in deltas are tailor-made and require specialist knowledge in various fields. So many maritime, geological, morphological, ecological and social differences are conceivable that each solution is unique and each design must take account of the system as a whole. This calls for innovations as we face increasing global challenges.
