At Witteveen+Bos, you’ll develop yourself first of all by learning on the job. By being challenged on projects and applying and expanding your knowledge and skills on them, you’ll learn more – faster. You’ll also learn from experienced colleagues on projects. To supplement this, we stimulate your development with an extensive offering of internal and external training opportunities.


Training opportunities at Witteveen+Bos

We offer a wide range of in-house training courses aimed at strengthening personal, social, commercial and leadership skills. You attend these courses in groups, with each group reflecting the diversity present in our organisation. This means you’ll not only get to know colleagues from other disciplines but you’ll also gain a broader view of our organisation and build up a valuable network. The content and level of these courses are tailored to your goals and the stage of your career you find yourself in. Often, a personal development plan forms part of a course, for which you’ll obtain feedback from your manager and immediate colleagues.

Shape your own career
As well as internal training courses, we facilitate a range of external courses of study. These generally focus on technical content and support your development as an expert. Which internal training courses do you organize?

We organise all kinds of skill training courses focused specifically on your level of experience and your career phase. They are designed to strengthen personal, socio-communicative, managerial or commercial skills. You will attend the courses as a member of a group, with the composition of the group reflecting the composition of our organisation as a whole. It gives you an opportunity to get to know colleagues who are active in other disciplines. You will get a wider view of our organisation and, above all, expand your network.

 

Do you also offer traineeships?

You are the orchestrator of your own career, so we do not mark out any predefined career paths. Therefore, we do not have standard traineeships for new employees. 

Right from your very first working day at Witteveen+Bos, you will develop professionally by undertaking varied and challenging work in a variety of different projects. Those projects give you ample opportunity to learn and to discover what kind of work you like and what your talents are.
