CO2-Performance Ladder

To help meet its ambitions in the area of corporate social responsibility, Witteveen+Bos Raadgevende Ingenieurs B.V. mapped out the CO2 emissions from its activities in the Netherlands for the first time in 2008. This produced a CO2 footprint for the years 2007 and 2004. The CSR team is responsible for the energy policy and its implementation. Progress with this policy is recorded in the annual environmental report. Since 2016, the annual environmental reports have included the emissions inventory (CO2 footprint), the objectives and the progress on these objectives:

Carbon footprint

The CO2 footprint of Witteveen+Bos’s activities in the Netherlands was also calculated for the years from 2008 to 2017 (see the Dutch page). Witteveen+Bos holds a CO2 Awareness Certificate at Level 5 of the CO2 Performance Ladder. The annual report states our CO2 reduction targets.

The communication plan for energy consumption and CO2 reduction in business operations and products/services describes how Witteveen+Bos communicates about these topics internally and externally. The memorandum on reduction targets per scope states the separate objectives for scope 1 and scope 2 of requirement 3B1 of the CO2 Performance Ladder.
