Pioneers in the Baltic region

Our company’s roots are in the Netherlands, with the headquarters of Witteveen+Bos still situated in the Dutch city of Deventer. 75 years ago, our first-ever project was completed there: the design of the Prince Bernhard Lock. Our projects provide a basis for innovation and knowledge development – in many situations we have been pioneers, applying technical solutions never before seen in Latvia. We have worked on projects including the movable bridge in Ventspils, port terminals in Ventspils and Riga, a mobility plan for Riga and Pieriga, and the reconstruction of railway terminals.

Being locally based means we are familiar with local design regulations, legislation and best practices. We are a member of the Netherlands Latvian Chamber of Commerce (NLCC) and since 2014 have been a proud member of the Latvian Association of Consulting Engineers (LIKA).
