Training evening: stakeholder management

Turn resistance into support
November 17th - Take In (Ghent)

Training evening: stakeholder management

Stakeholder management is now essential for anyone who wants to deliver a project on time, within budget and without unnecessary headaches. Witteveen+Bos has developed tailored participation and communication strategies for this purpose. Discover how they can help move your project forward too.

Why does this matter?

  • You bring the right people together at the right time in the right way;
  • You gather (out-of-the-box) ideas, concerns and valuable input by involving the stakeholders in an early stage;
  • Your project gains extra value when we co-create project solutions that are both technically robust and widely supported;
  • A project that might otherwise stall becomes feasible.

Programme

  1. 16:30 – 17:00: Welcome
  2. 17:00 – 18:00: The importance of stakeholder management, illustrated through real-world cases involving complex infrastructure projects such as Oosterweel, industrial environmental permitting such as Greenyard Frozen Belgium, and major construction projects such as Kapellenblok Herentals. Three very different cases, each with its own target audiences, yet all built on a similar approach: creating broad support for a successful project.
  3. 18:00 – 18:30: Buffet and networking
  4. 18:30 – 19:30: Participation: what does it mean? What does it involve? What forms can it take? We guide you through the process, from designing a participation pathway to choosing the right working formats.
  5. 19:30 – 20:30: Questions, networking and drinks
