The story of Martijn Nieuwenhuijse

‘I love the fact that I get to work on concrete solutions during my graduation.’

How can we at Witteveen+Bos get more out of our digital services? This is what I have been working on as a graduate intern in the Digital Acceleration and Support (DAS) sector. It turns out to be a complex, multi-dimensional challenge. Luckily, I received incredible support from my colleagues at DAS during my research in understanding and analysing this relatively new sector. The result: in late October, I get to present my vision for the future of DAS.

I love the fact that I get to work on solutions to different challenges during my graduation. Based on my studies in Strategic Product Design at TU Delft, I mostly apply a conceptual working style. It is very instructive to apply the knowledge gained and make it almost tangible. In a short time, I have learned a lot about the impact of my design.

I also find the dynamics at Witteveen+Bos very inspiring. The DAS sector works on very diverse and cool projects, which make me proud to work for the sector. Due to the commuting distance, I have been on location a bit less often than I would have wanted; hopefully, I will get the chance to get to know my colleagues even better after graduation!
