The story of Yasmine de Witte

'What I like best here is working with experts from different fields.'

Yasmine works on a team of experts focused on the ecological and hydrological challenges of today and tomorrow. 'When I graduated as a bioengineer in land, water and climate in 2023, I had to and would put my passion for sustainability and hydrology into practice. At Witteveen+Bos I found exactly what I was looking for: a place where I can not only apply my knowledge, but also continuously learn new things.'

'My work is super varied: from designing water saving basins and natural areas to attending brainstorming sessions with very experienced engineers. The open culture here allows you to dare to share your ideas and grow quickly.'

'What I like best is the balance between being creative and working with experts within different fields. For example, I work on the nature compensation plan for the port of Antwerp and the design of hydraulic solutions for water level management in various streams.'
