I enjoy working as part of a team where I can grow in my role. In my current role as Tender Support Officer with the secretary of the Energy, Water and Environment sector of Witteveen+Bos, I have found exactly what I was looking for!
In my previous job in the hospitality industry, I worked with a diverse group of people and characters, which I also see in my work at Witteveen+Bos. This way, I learn more about the organisation and our services. I love that I can support project managers with secretarial work in all their inspiring projects. This includes responsibility for the corporate style of documents and ensuring that documents are sent out in accordance with the quality requirements.
I have since expanded my role to include screening incoming international leads. I am also a project secretary and am involved in various support tasks from the beginning to the end of a project. No two days are the same, because every project is different! I like the fact that I have the freedom to organise my work and expand it where possible.
I received a warm welcome from the secretary team 1.5 years ago. My colleagues invited me to lunches, get-togethers and other activities. It made me feel part of the team right away. We help each other where necessary. It is a warm, collegial working environment.
