Every year, Witteveen+Bos donates an amount to a charity around the Christmas period. At the end of last year, the donation went to the Harapan Baru foundation, which is committed to improving living conditions on the island of Lombok in Indonesia. Their work focuses in particular on people with a disability or who live in poverty. By donating to this foundation, Witteveen+Bos is helping to fund the construction of a community house. Ecobricks, which are bricks made of compressed plastic waste, are being used to build the house. In addition to a monetary donation, Witteveen+Bos is also providing advice regarding the construction and use of materials for the frame of the building.
