Witteveen+Bos starts collaboration with investment platform Wonderland Impact Investments
In December of last year, consultancy and engineering firm Witteveen+Bos and the new, independent investment platform Wonderland Impact Investments (Wonderland) signed a long-term partnership agreement. This brings together two worlds: technology and investment. Based on this synergy, Wonderland develops powerful impact propositions, which it then implements over the long term. Wonderland connects investors with sustainable ambitions to socially relevant and responsible projects.
The Wonderland investment platform was established in April 2025 to create large-scale ecological, social and financial value with investment propositions in the areas of land, water, real estate and infrastructure (real assets). The platform focuses on projects such as nature restoration in rural areas, redevelopment of religious heritage and making business parks more sustainable – all with new revenue models that strengthen local communities. Wonderland is currently in talks with investors for the launch of its first impact proposition.
Impactful investment offering
Wouter Bijman, Managing Director of Witteveen+Bos: 'We are constantly looking for ways to make a contribution to society. The establishment of Wonderland is the result of years of research. I have every confidence that this company is capable of creating impactful investment opportunities that the Netherlands needs and that will enable Witteveen+Bos to create value much earlier in the chain.’
Karin Sluis, co-founder of Wonderland and Managing Director at Witteveen+Bos from 2013-2020: ‘We know that many of today's social problems can still be solved. By combining financial and technical expertise, we can make those solutions possible. I am grateful that Witteveen+Bos supports our initiative and is making a long-term contribution.’
Witteveen+Bos is Wonderland's first partner. Other partnerships will follow in due course.
