Building a robust water supply with Brabant Water

Brabant Water entered into an eight-year collaboration with Royal HaskoningDHV, Sweco, BBC Bouwmanagement B.V. and Witteveen+Bos in early June 2024. Under a framework agreement, the water utility will implement projects to future-proof its water supply.

The task is diverse and challenging, according to Brabant Water. The engineering firms provide support in preparing strategic studies, deliver engineering design services and supervise the implementation of construction projects. This includes the design and construction of a new drinking water extraction facility in Kruisland, the renovation of a flushing water recovery unit in Helmond, the expansion of the drinking water treatment plant in Veghel and construction of a new brackish water treatment plant in Genderen.
