Inspection of berth and revetment of port of Liepaja

In the summer of 2016 Witteveen+Bos Latvia was approached by another engineering company from Liepaja, asking for a favour of inspecting some hydraulic structures in the Port of Liepaja. Inspection works envisaged an underwater inspection of berth no. 2, revetment adjacent to berth no. 2 and berth no. 69, among other things. A third party was hired for the underwater inspection works.

Inspection reports were prepared after the on-site inspections. The ultimate client, the government organization in charge of maintaining all military infrastructure in the country, could use the reports for planning of budget related to maintenance, repair and reconstruction of the inspected structures.
