Wetterskip Fryslân preserves sludge processing in Friesland in the Netherlands

Amersfoort 18 December 2018, Royal HaskoningDHV and Witteveen+Bos will support Wetterskip Fryslân in making sludge processing more sustainable. Thanks to the use of innovative technology, the costs of sludge processing will be reduced and the Dutch Waterschap will be able to meet approximately 30 percent of its own energy requirements. The project is expected to involve an investment of approximately 46 million euros over the next five years.
