In his lecture entitled ‘Charting a low carbon future energy system: the rationale for hydrogen and emerging energy carriers’, Saleh Mohammadi shares his vision on accelerating the energy transition.

Some highlights:

• Hydrogen and other emerging energy carriers are crucial for minimising CO₂ emissions.
• A system approach is another essential component: technology cannot be viewed in isolation from human behaviour, policy and infrastructure.
• Only by tackling these aspects together can we make real progress in the energy transition.
