Karin Sluis finalist for the European CEO Award 2018

Witteveen+Bos’ CEO Karin Sluis has been selected as finalist for the European CEO Award 2018. The annual European CEO Awards, which will be presented for the 8th time, are aimed at highlighting exceptional leadership and best practice from European engineers and consultancy firms.

Karin was nominated by the board of the Dutch branch association NLengineers for the way she very convincingly links the work of Witteveen+Bos to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She strengthens the connection between social challenges, scientific research and practical (educational) application and engineering work. Jacolien Eijer from NLengineers: 'Karin is able to continue to link inspiring leadership to the human dimension.  She is an accessible example to many both inside and outside Witteveen+Bos.’

The Award is organized by the Association of Consulting Engineers (ACE) in the United Kingdom. The results will be announced on 5 November.
