At Witteveen+Bos we are constantly investigating whether and how new techniques and methods can help our clients. For example, Augmented Reality (AR) can be used in the concept phase: with AR, images are projected over a real image, whereby the virtual image can be instantly adapted and moved by the user. This technique can be used to fit a sound barrier or bus stop, for example.

In order to investigate the added value, three teams at Witteveen+Bos developed a case study for a future construction site. The case study used Hololens glasses to decide the best locations for charging points for electric buses. We will use the results to ensure that these new techniques and methods are used in the best, most efficient way possible.
