The story of Astrid Stuer
I started at Witteveen+Bos in June 2020 as a marketing and communications adviser. In this role, I focus primarily on strengthening the position of Witteveen+Bos Belgium as a brand in the Belgian market. I also offer support in the area of job market communications.
Due to corona, my onboarding mostly took place in my home office. In the summer, however, I did get the chance to meet my Dutch colleagues from the Communications department at the head office.
Now, I’m much more comfortable with how everything works and I can concentrate on doing the things I enjoy. These include writing texts for the website, managing the communication on W+B Connect and coordinating campaigns, as well as realising creative tools like videos and animations. You can definitely say that my duties vary a great deal. A huge positive is that my colleagues trust me.
What motivates me? That would be collaborating! I regularly have meetings with colleagues from the Communications department in Deventer to exchange ideas about communications and marketing. Hugely useful and worthwhile in my opinion. I also have weekly meetings with my HR colleagues in Antwerp. Because of the strict corona regulations, everything takes place digitally - but that doesn’t get in the way of having a constructive meeting.
